the perfect weekend

this weekend was perfect. it began with girls movie night on friday night. scott watched the (sleeping) boys so i could go see 'made of honor' with lauren & callie. we thought the movie started at 9:05 but it was really at 9:40 so we had lots of chit-chat time beforehand. the movie was cute & funny. it was a great night!



then on saturday morning we took our first family of four trip to the zoo! after a quick trip to mcdonald's on the way and lots of sunscreen application, we were ready to go. logan's favorite animals were the rhinoceroses, which he calles "nossossesses". he also enjoyed the black bear that was right against the glass looking at us. tristan pretty much slept the whole time, but he was content with that. :)



after naptime at home we went to falcone's (pizza) for dinner. pizza is my absolute favorite food & one of logan's favs as well so we really enjoyed the treat. for dessert we had popsicles outside. logan LOVED this since it was the first time we allowed him to have his own popsicle & hold it himself. he made a big sticky mess which got him a nice bubbly bath.



sunday morning we went to church. it was tristan's 2nd time to go to the nursery but he didn't do quite as well this time. he was so sleepy but i think all the other crying babies were upsetting him. as soon as i took him he fell right to sleep. after church we went to panera bread for brunch with logan's friends brody & carter, and of course their parents which just so happen :) to be our good friends!
